Our department has a wide research focus including weak-current and heavy-current engineering, control and regulation of electrical systems, simulation, and modelling of systems based on magnetic field as well as electromobility. Furthermore, we study the physics of plasma and develop and test high-tech switching and protection elements.
The Department of Power Electrical and Electronic Engineering is a part of Centre for Research and Utilization of Renewable Energy (CVVOZE) and Centre for New Technologies for Mechanical Engineering (NETME).
