Research laboratories
You can find a number of modern research laboratories at UVEE , in which you will be able to measure the parameters and properties of a wide range of electrical machines, instruments and inverters.
Besides our students, these research laboratories are also used by our industrial partners.
Laboratory of high-speed machines
In this laboratory you can work on developments in the field of high-speed machines and related issues.
Here you will find cutting-edge measuring and diagnostic technology, but most interesting are our unique induction brakes for loading motors at speeds of up to several tens of thousands of revolutions per minute.
Laboratory of Special Electrical Machines
The laboratory for testing electrical machines or drives will excite you with plenty of modern dynamometers and power supplies that allow you to measure a wide range of electrical machines.
Laboratory of switching power supplies
In this research laboratory you will develop and test switching power supplies and all related electronics.
It also includes a popular retro-cubicle documenting the development of electrical engineering over the last century.
Short circuit laboratory
The Short Circuit Laboratory or Switchgear Laboratory is one of the key laboratories of the Centre for Renewable Energy Research and Utilisation.
It will be of great use for research and development in the field of electrical equipment with the ability to pass large currents.
Laboratory of student projects
In the Student Projects Lab, you'll find everything you could possibly need to prototype, assemble, and animate printed circuit boards.
